TWO RADIO, BREAK-IN CW SELECTOR SWITCH
AVAILABLE NOW $59.95! Call for details or to place an order.
The function of our CWswitch is to switch CW paddles, keys and/or external keyers and computer keyers between two radios for use with break-in or semi-break-in transmit activation. The CWswitch may be used stand-alone manually operated by the front panel transmit select switch or as a remotely controlled accessory for our RIGblaster Duo. It could also be controlled remotely by a switched 12 volt control source.
Since modern radios sometimes have two key/keyer inputs we provide two switching circuits. One switches two wires to select either straight keys or external keyers. Note that the output of a keyer, whether it be a computer being used to type CW or an external keyer controlled by a paddle is two wires just like a straight key. These CW keying devices can only be plugged into a radio’s straight key jack.
The other circuit is a three wire switching circuit that is intended for dot-dash paddles that make one connection to send dots and another to send dashes. These paddies must be plugged into a radio’s paddle input in order to use a radio’s internal keyer.
We supply the CWswitch in two versions, stand alone and for use with a RIGblaster duo. The only difference is, one comes with a 12 VDC power cord and the other with a duo interface cord. NOTE: You may need up to 5 CW input and/or output cables; these are available from us as an optional accessory.
