The CLRdsp is a outboard processor unit with ClearSpeech® adaptive noise reduction circuit and audio amplifier.
It is ideal for use in a home station or for mobile radio operation. Noise reduction is superb. The DSP passes the voice and CW sounds, while attenuating noise, such as hum, hiss, whistles, static. It effectively removes heterodynes, ignition noise, lightning crashes, power line noise, and hum. The process is dynamic and changes with the interference and the signal, but the effect is rewarding. The DSP recognizes the intermittent nature of CW and allows it to pass noise free. The CLRdsp may be mounted in any convenient location or fits perfectly under our COMspkrs. Supplied with 6' audio cables to connect to the speaker output of most radios and to connect to most speakers. Connect the powerpoles to any convenient 12 volt supply. The CLRdsp works well in the mobile station too. There is a 1/8 inch phone jack on the back for connection to any external 8 or 4 ohm loudspeaker or to an amplified speaker such as any computer speakers or our COMspkrs. The front panel headphone jack disconnects the external speaker. |
