The PWRspkr is a LOUD loudspeaker that improves your communication especially in noisy environments. It is ideal for use in a truck or car. Just plug it in to your radio’s speaker/earphone jack, and adjust the gain control, for excellent intelligibility. The PWRspkr uses a 10-watt linear power amplifier and a sharp bandpass filter set to 300Hz to 3kHz to attenuate un-needed bass and treble sounds. It plays very loud (better than 100 dB sound pressure level). The PWRspkr comes with a tilt-adjustable mounting bracket, a six foot power cable with Powerpole connectors, and a six foot long audio connector with a 1/8 inch plug. The case is made of impact resistant polystyrene and the speaker grill is aluminum.
